Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated by Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I served the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) for ten years, and he
never said to me, "Uf" (a minor harsh word denoting impatience) and never
blamed me by saying, "Why did you do so or why didn't you do so?"

Narrated by Al-Aswad (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I asked 'Aisha what did the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) use to
do at home. She replied "He used to keep himself busy serving his family
and when it was time for the prayer, he would get up for prayer."

That he heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "If
somebody accuses another of Fusuq (by calling him 'Fasiq' i.e. a wicked

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated by Safwan bin Muhriz (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man asked Ibn 'Umar, "What did you hear Allah's Apostle saying regarding
An-Najwa (secret talk between Allah and His believing worshipper on the Day
of Judgment)?"

He said, "(The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said), "One of you
will come close to his Lord till He will shelter him in His screen and say:
'Did you commit such-and-such sin?' He will say, 'Yes.' Then Allah will
say: 'Did you commit such and such sin?' He will say, 'Yes.' So Allah will
make him confess (all his sins) and He will say, 'I screened them (your
sins) for you in the world, and today I forgive them for you."'

*Today's Hadith is about the Blessings of Wealth*

It was narrated from Abu Al-Ahwas (AS), from his father,: That he came to the Prophet [SAW] wearing shabby clothes. The Prophet [SAW] said to him: "Do you have any wealth?" He said: "Yes, all kinds of wealth." He said: "What kinds of wealth?" He said: "Allah has given me camels, cattle, sheep, horses and slaves." He said: "If Allah has given you wealth, then let the effect of Allah's blessing and generosity be seen on you."

(Sahih, Sunan An-Nasa’i, Book 48, Hadith 185)

Today's Hadith is about What Remains Behind

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (RA) said: "I heard Anas bin Malik (RA) say:

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The dead person is followed by three: His family, his wealth and his deeds. Then two of them come back:
His family and his wealth, and there remain only his deeds."'

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 21, Hadith 121)

Will a shaheed be given ghusal?

Q: If a person is murdered (and gains martyrdom) then can ghusal be given to his body? In many cases, post mortem is conducted by non-muslim doctors and najaasat could have come onto the body. Also, it is possible that ghusal could have been waajib on the deceased at the time of his death. Will these factors affect the mas'alah in any way?

A: Ghusal is not waajib upon a shaheed. Hence, if a person was murdered, he will be buried with the blood that is on him and ghusal will not be waajib upon him even though post mortem was conducted by non-Muslim doctors. However, if it is known that he passed away in the state of janaabat then ghusal will be waajib upon him.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
